Beskrivning
Ocean view cottage. Totally renovated and enlarged in 2009-2010;
dishwasher, washing machine, bathroom/shower with floor heating,
water toilet. Located in
Roslagen in a very nice part of the Stockholm archipelago.
Only 30 meters from cottage to the Baltic Sea. About 70 meters to pier
where you can swim. Family size canoe + rowing boat with outboard
motor incl in rent. Lots of islands nearby, including beautiful Ängsö
National Park.
Most of the cottage has 3 meters from floor to ceiling. The photos in this
presentation are from June 2010 (all outdoor photos have been taken
maximum 100 meters away from the cottage).
The cottage has livingroom and kitchen/dining area. From here there is
an extra
door to the terrace (15 m2) with outdoor dining furniture overlooking the
sea. There is one bedroom with 4 high standard beds: 2 single built in
bunk beds (200 x 90 cm each) + 1 double bed (200 x 160 cm). All these
are new spring beds purchased in 2010. Since the house is 40 m2 we
recommend maximum 4 people, but we gladly supply 1 extra fold-up cot
if you are 5. There is a hallway with cabinets for clothes. New bathroom
(8 m2).
Easy access to lots of uninhabited archiepago islands were you may
explore, fish,
bring picnics etc. Good fishing area (we have fishing rods you can
borrow and you may fish from pier and/or boat). Beautiful nearby areas
for forrest walks.
Electricity and water included in rent. The house boarders a meadow.
Cable TV (in
English, German, French etc including EuroSport). Private parking next to
house. Calmarea, closest neighbor (except landlord) about 200 meters
away. The property
where the cottage is located was originally developed in 1908. The
surroundings is
a genuine small archipelago village (not a zoned area with lots of
summer cottages located close to oneanother).
In the costal town of Norrtalje (15 min from cottage and a popular resort
among
Stockholm locals) you find lots of stores, restaurants, super markets,
banks, post office, movie theatre, museums etc. Norrtalje/Stockholm bus
stop is 350 meters from cottage. Only 4 km to Penningby Castle.

Within 30 min drive: At least three 18-hole golf courses, horse-back
riding,
museums, living viking village, Furusund (Astrid Lindgrens summer
home). Day trips to the Finish island Åland by ferry located 20 min from

The TV in the cottage is 40 with over 300 channels from 3 satellites:
Visat, Astra and Hot Bird. Channels in English, German, French, Italian,
Spanish, Swedish etc. Many movie channels, Disney Channel, EuroSport
and EuroSport2, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, National Geographic,
many news channels in many languages etc.
Vägbeskrivning
From Stockholm Arlanda Airport (about 70 km). Drive towards Norrtälje
(signs from airport). On E18, just outside Norrtälje, take road 276 south
towards Åkersberga. Drive about 10 km. In Penningby, take a left
towards Furusund. Drive about 4 km. You now see a small inlet of the
Baltic on your right as you enter Hysingsvik. After about 1 km take a
right towards HYSINGSVIKS BRYGGA. Drive 300 meters until the end of
the road. The house is right before the pier (pier =
brygga in Swedish). Welcome!
